Dutch Oven Delight with Home Made Artisan Bread!

INGREDIENTS:


4 Cups of All Purpose Flour

2 Cups of Warm Water

1 Package or 7 grams of Yeast

Honey

1 1/2 tsp Salt

Olive Oil



INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Mix Yeast and Water in a bowl and allow to bubble. (if you are using instant yeast mix it all at once)

  2. In a large bowl mix together the flour and salt then create a small well.

  3. Mix the yeast water into the flour and combine by hand until the dough comes together.

  4. Cover the bowl and let rise for about 1.5 hours.

  5. Uncover the dough and lightly knead it a couple times by stretching and folding it over.

  6. Cover the dough again and let rise one more hour.

  7. Uncover the dough and lightly knead it again and recover.

  8. Turn on your oven to 450° and place dutch oven inside to warm it up.

  9. After about 45 minutes, uncover the bread an place it inside the hot dutch oven, cover with lid and let cook for 30 minutes.

  10. After 30 minutes uncover the pot and let cook another 15 minutes (so total cook is 45 minutes)

  11. Remove bread from the dutch oven and place it on cooling for about 30 minutes before serving.
